In this session I will share with you an in depth analysis of the 2023 KS2 mathematics Test papers and what we can learn from this analysis.
The breakdown will compare this year’s papers with those since 2016. Focusing on curricular strands, substrands and year groups, this session will unpick what pupils really need to be able to do to achieve the ‘Expected standard’.
Guiding teachers in Year 6 and across Key stage 2, to have a better understanding of the demands of this assessment and the importance of focusing on essential knowledge and skills, rather than blindly following lists, textbook, schemes etc…
