Headline: My favourite lesson: primary and secondary
Date Thursday 23rd June 2016
Time: 7.00 for 7.15pm start. Finishing 8.45pm.
Presenter: Peter Hawley (Holyoakes Field First School, Redditch) and Karen Finch (Windsor High School and Sixth Form).
Abstract: This session will be a sharing of each of our favourite lessons. Peter is a primary teacher and Karen is a secondary teacher. Together they will each share one of their favourite lessons and why they find these lessons so productive. In addition, they will be asking you to come prepared to share one of your favourite lessons as well to a small group of five other teachers, who will also share theirs with you. You will have only five minutes each for that sharing, so do not plan a long speech!
So come prepared to get a lot of lesson ideas which have worked well for other teachers as well as being prepared to share your own favourite lesson.
Venue: School of Education, University of Birmingham, Room G39 (Ground floor, through double doors by Reception)
Cost: Free if you are a member of ATM/MA or £2 otherwise
