Wanted: New Primary Mathematics Journal Editor
Are you passionate about primary mathematics? Would you like to contribute to the creation of our dedicated primary journal? We’re seeking an enthusiastic editor to join our team and collaborate with our Senior Editor in curating and producing Primary Mathematics.
Each issue of Primary Mathematics begins months before it reaches readers’ hands, unfolding as a careful blend of collaboration, creativity, and coordination.
The Role Includes:
Engaging with Potential Authors
- Identify article ideas through conferences and events.
- Respond to author enquiries and consult with the Senior Editor on article suitability.
Article Collection and Preparation
- Save potential articles for processing.
- Maintain a database of author details.
- Provide guidance to authors on titles, layouts, diagrams, images, and word counts.
Finalising Issues
- Coordinate content production with our agency partner.
- Review and approve the completed issue.
Editors will receive an honorarium for each issue they produce.
